Sample at GTMW 2024, 8/10/24. Rating 22.3k! Hazy orange, thin head, average retention. Aroma of toffee, bread, citrus. Taste is toffee, raisin, caramel. Nice. Crisp.

Tap at Tighthead. Perhaps a pinch under carbonated. Mellow, malty. Really true to style, well attenuated too. Quite drinkable, well centered. Good.

Pour is a clear copper with a average white head. Aroma is sweet tootsie roll mal with lots of caramel. Flavor is a grainy caramel with with something almost like a rosewater finish. Lighter in the mouthfeel then I thought it would be. Decent maibock with plenty of malt goodness that did not finish as sweet as I thought It would.

Draft: Poured a honey color bock with a medium size foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of cereal notes with light grainy notes is pleasant enough. Taste is a mix of cereal with light grainy feature with some residual sugar notes also perceptible. Body is about average with good carbonation. Light butter notes were noticeable but nothing too strong. Quite enjoyable for the style.

A lightly hazed golden maibock with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light chalky character, light German hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, caramel malt with light fruity esters, spiced German hops, grainy character, very nice. On tap at Cigar and Stripes BBQ.
