750 mL bottle. Much thanks to Tcon for picking this up in Chicago. Pours an apple juice golden color with a disappearing head. An extremely tart apple and grain aroma. Flavor is juicy, intense tart that is an instant reminder of the de garde "type" of sour. Juicy, lemon, apple, with a slight plastic like grain quality in the background. Interesting and unique. Very tart, a 9/10. Quite good stuff here.

Hazy golden tinted ruby and violet tinted body with a rich, thick four centimetre tall head, very hazy throughout. Aroma of super rich and complex yeast and sour essences along with a good funky brett and dry grass note, like a saison. Medium to Light-bodied; Sour, funky, fruity and bretty/lacto flavours abound with a very light finish that shows nothing but funk, sourness, fruit and sweetness. Aftertaste shows a good rich complexity with the sourness dominating along with the yeast flavours, some banana and cloves and the wheat - very easy to drink. Overall, a nice and complex beer that shows amazing sour and wild notes and some good dryness at the end - much better than expected and definitely worth buying if you can find this - the next time i’m close to Chicago, i’ll try to find more from the brewery. I sampled this 75 cL bottle purchased from West Lakeview Liqours in Chicago, Illinois on 25-May-2016 for US$13,49 sampled at home in Washington on 04-July-2016 in celebration of Independence Day!

Bottle thanks to Paul. Pours a hazy orange with small frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is citrus and funk. Thin mouth, tart, apple skin, light funk, light finish, very good.

Draft? at GTMW. Hazy yellow color, thin white head. Aroma of tart summer fruit. Taste is fruity, earthy, smooth and soft sourness. Decent.

Bottle purchased in Superior, Wisconsin. Yellow color. Moderate sourness. Yeast, a little tart. Some grain and a little spice. Abrupt, sour finish finish. It could be a little more sour, but I enjoyed this.

750 ml bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, batch ES1. Very high carbonation upon opening. Pours hazy deep golden color with a 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big tart lemon, pineapple, peach, apricot, mango, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, hay, straw, grass, light honey, cracker, bread, light musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/spicy/funky yeast and moderate pale malt notes; with good strength. Taste of big tart lemon, pineapple, peach, mango, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, hay, straw, grass, light honey, cracker, bread, light musty funk, and herbal/yeast earthiness. Good amount of yeast spiciness and light fruity tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pineapple, peach, mango, apricot, pear, apple, white grape, pepper, hay, straw, grass, light honey, cracker, bread, and herbal/yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast and moderate pale malt flavors; with a good malt/yeast balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and medium bodied; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice wild ale. All around good complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast and moderate pale malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. Seems to be more of a Belgian strong pale ale with strong Brett flavors, but is very enjoyable overall.

Bottle. Pours a clear light gold with a touch of orange and a bubbly white head that dissipates nearly completely. Aroma has light tart fruits with a bit of earthy grains and some light funk. Flavor has tropical fruit with a light tartness and some earthy grain.
