On draft at Old Chicago. Pours a reddish-amber with minimal head. Aroma of malt, some hops. Flavor was very sweet, lots of malt, not a whole lot to really distinguish it. Not terrible, either. Went well with my calzone.

Bottle from MrBarleywine, thanks for the opportunity! Pours a reddish amber color with a decent sized off white head that slowly dissipates. Aromas of caramel, toffee, earth, light brown sugar and fruits. Somewhat grassy aroma as well. Carmel and toffee with light fruitiness dominate the flavor. 35 IBU’s but I can’t find any flavor from them. Medium body light to moderate carbonation. Not horrible, but not great either.

Bottle from a friend in Iowa. Tart fruity caramel malt aroma. Cloudy amber with a ginormous beige head. Toasty caramel malt and grassy herbal bitter flavor. Light body, lively carbonation - a little on the overly carbonated side.

12 oz stubby bottle left behind by a neighbor on New Year’s Eve. The pour is a light hazed brown copper with minimal light tan head. The aroma is lightly sweet caramel malt along with an orange peel citrus lightly bitter spiciness. The taste is grainy bready malt, the light sweetness of the caramel in the nose is also present in taste. The spice, almost potpourri bitterness is in the finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, carbonation is a bit low, and the sweet and gentle spice linger in the after taste. Decent beer in a style I do not normally enjoy too much.
