Can supplied by brewery. My pour kicked up a large head of foam, but it dropped away pretty quickly. There’s a nice toasty malt smell that reaches me from a few feet away while I’m distracted by typing. The beer is more brass than red in color, and hazy like it’s been minimally filtered. Taste is lighter than the Saugatuck red ale I had last night. There is a bite back of yeast, as expected, but it works with the bitterness of Cascade hops. Malts are light and dry, but still carry some toast to them. At 5.0% abv, it works well with or before meals.

Crowler: Clear, amber, with a small white ring. Caramel, soft fruit aroma. Taste is creamy, caramel malt, a little dough. Fairly heavy body for the style. Very pleasant.

Crowler. Toffee malt and straw aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet creamy vegetal toffee malt and mildly bitter herbal flavor. Good body.

Draft at GTMW 2015. Hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of cream soda. Taste is lightly sweet vanilla. Not bad.
