On tap at �lhallen, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma is robust, with notes of port, cherries, roasted malt and maybe some cocoa. Flavour is robust as hell, with notes of cherries and boozy port over top harsh roasted malt and earthy notes. Not subtle at all. The port dominates front and centre, with light-to-medium use of cherries that are more prominent on the finish. I prefer the regular Konrads Stout, but this is sill enjoyable. Very good.

Fra kran på Ølhallen 18 Mar 15. Svart. Lavt lysebrunt skum som daler sakte. Symbolsk lacing. God søt sjokoladearoma. Smaken forbausende lett. En god del kaffe men med et beskjedent innslag av frukt. Litt metallisk etter hvert. Kirsebær? Alkoholen ikke framtredende.

Tap @ TCBW2015. 27032015. Colour is black with small brownish white head. Aromas and flavours: Red wine, cherries, some coffee, some chocolate and roasted malts. Very heavy and can’t find much drinkabilitiy. Quite horrible.

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, heavy cherries and port. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with warming alcohol. Relatively short finish. 310315

Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus, 11%. Black with small beige head. Aroma is toasted malts, cherry, almond, port wine, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, cherry, almond, sweet, warming, port wine, wood, hop, notes of alcohol and a little bitter.

Draught @ Fermentoren, Århus. Pours pitch balck with a creamy tan head, some lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, oak, cherries, Tawny port, light alcohol. Flavor is malty, coffee, chocolate, light tartness, cherry, wood, port, light spice, alcohol. Medium body, average to lively carbonation, light warming alcohol. Allthough alcohol shows, its fairly well hidden for the ABV. 280315

Draught @ TCBW 2015 Pours pitch black with a smooth head. Aroma of sourish cherries, roasty malts, syrup, vinous berries, port and raisins. Taste is smooth, sweetish and vinous with loads of port, some cherries and roasty maltiness. Finish is sweet, vinous and woody with notes of port and cherries. Interesting, quite untypical.

Aroma has tart cherries and some roasted malt. Also rubbery tones. Flavour has tart cherry juice and some roastiness in the background. Lacks the smoothness of a porto (or sherry) but has the tartness of a cherry. Not exactly my thing,
