12 ounce bottle into weizen glass, bottled on 11/18/2016. Pours hazy deep reddish copper/light brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of big raisin, plum, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge raisin, plum, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light herbal bitterness and yeast spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of rfaisin, plum, peach, pear, apricot, red apple, banana, bubblegum, clove, caramel, brown sugar, toffee, brown bread, toasted biscuit, light nuttiness/roast, herbal, grass, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance, and zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Minimal dryness. Medium-high carbonation and fairly full body; with a very smooth, creamy, bready, silky, and rich mouthfeel that is awesome. Minimal warming alcohol for 10.5%. Overall this is a fantastic weizenbock! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast and dark/bready malt flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to drink for the huge ABV. Very rich with perfectly balanced yeast and malt complexity. Just as great as most classic German versions(though higher on ABV). A highly enjoyable offering, and pristine style example.

Tap at Sidedoor. Filtered amber-brown, nice looking thin off-white head. Definitely has a sweet rum barrel feel. Smooth malt tones all the way. The wheat and coffee give it some interesting depth. A nice German beer, but barrel blasted. Overall pretty good. Rum, caramel, brown sugar. Unique.

12 oz. bottle from a trade with queenholly. Dark mahogany brown color, no head or lacing. Nose is pretty nice, raisins with caramel covered banana’s. Very nice flavors of malts and yeast. Tastes of sweet malt, roasted caramel, nuts, and hints of banana’s. Notes of apples. Medium body. Dry texture. This is the first beer from this brewery that I really enjoyed. Nice one.

Decent weizenbock with the major fault being an excess of bitterness that doesn’t fit the style very well. Pours reddish brown with ok head and lacing. Some florals and wheat in the aroma. Bottle from Premier Gourmet.

Bottle. Toast, plums, dark brown sugar aroma. Hazy amber with a moderate beige head, heavy flocculation. Molasses, toast, plum, and caramel flavor with a slight bitter finish. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Medium body, soft carbonation.

12 oz bottle. Pours a reddish brown with some haze and a small off-white head. Aroma of ripe dark fruit, caramel, toffee, and fresh bread crust. Flavor mainly of dark fruit, especially raisin, with some flavors of bread crust and toffee, maybe a bit of spicy anise. Light palate for a beer of this ABV, with a clean finish. Despite the light palate, the alcohol is pretty well hidden. Not bad.

On tap at Crunchy’s, East Lansing. Dark orange-brown body, almost sanguine, topped by a thin cream head. Huge nose of burnt caramel, wet hay, and alcohol, dry and medicinal. Interesting body with unexpected sweet berries complementing the heavy caramels, hay, and alcohol. Leafy, bitter hops attempt to cut the heavy malts and booze. Potent and thick without being too sweet.

On draught. At the Bocktown, pleasant place! Atwater tuefl S6L4F2T408: Nice darker clear color. Decent tan head. Smell is beery fresh, rather fruity at times. Fairly strong alky bite on the taste buds. Almost like strong ale, or possibly even barley wine tripel status. Decent carbonation. Finish is medicinal linger, for a while anyway.
