Canned 440ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him & Hrabren. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, roasty and light chocolate nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, light herbal and notes of caramel with bitterish finish. Rustical porter.

440ml can, B#631, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Pours a black body with a ruby-brown shade, creamy, fawn-coloured head leaving crocheted lacing. Attractive aromas of nutty chocolate, smoothly roasted. Fine blended taste of chocolate, nuts and a coffee bite, mid-sweet. Nicely roasted finish, mid-sweet. Well bodied. Good drinking. (Tromsø, 19.04.2026).

0.44 l can thanks to Marko, shared with Ogi and him. Dark brown, small beige head. Aroma is malty, toasty, slightly roasty, earthy, hint of spice such as anise seed. Smooth, toasty and caramely flavour, soft burnt note, soft astringency. Slightly unbalanced, too bitter and astringent, earthy but otherwise well done, rich, flavourful. An old school porter, hard to find.

Can, enormous thanks djoeye! Shared with Hrabren and Ogi. Pitch balck body, off-white head. Enormous chocolatey, bit roasty aroma, almost lovely, traces of caramel. Lean, dry taste, chocolate, orange liqueur, low roastiness, some toast, not much bitterness, herbal touches, but it's there and growing. This... this is an excellent old-school porter.

0,44 porsjon fra fjernlageret i Verksgata, hjemme etter brygging 1/26, en mørk IPA: brunsvart med fint skum som varer lenge. Perfekt porteranslag med nydelig maltsmak, ristede nøtter, mørke karamellsjokolader, hint av bjørnebær og ristet brød. Lekker, halvtørr og lang avslutning med betydelig mersmak.

Can @ gunnfryd. Dark amber, close to black body under a big, dense beige head. Nice aroma of roasted malt, coffee and nuts. Taste is medium sweet, dark, smooth roasted malt, cocoa powder, coffee and balanced bitterness. Balanced body with a nice aftertaste. A really fine, classic no-nonsense porter.
