Pours shark eye black with a small/mid sized light tan head.A very Christmassy nose, typical winter spices, nutmeg, ginger and a little bit of cinnamon. In the mouth it's a little treacly but with a spicy and then a fruity twang, not forgetting a bit of sweet liquorice, thick, a little heavy with some bonfire toffee to finish. Score 7.4

330ml can. Pours jet black with a small head. Aroma is Christmas cake spice, ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon. Touch of teacle. Taste has liquorice, ginger and nutmeg throughout. Touch of tar and roast on the finish. Some burnt treacle.
