For this Winter Hopfenlager, we wanted to, well, celebrate this classic, by adding a little caramel malt in the grain bill, and selecting what has become to define West Coast IPA: The ‘C’ hops of Chinook, Cascade, and Centennial.
This hoppy lager is double-decocted, with hop additions at flameout and in the coolship for increased aromatics. Open fermentation and horizontal maturation aid in a smooth drinking experience to enjoy round after round at your holiday table.

Draught @ Tapster Lincoln Park, Chicago IL (Jan 2026). Clear coppr-amber with a foamy beige head, caramel malt aroma, bitter malty caramel taste on spicy background, smooth body, long bitter finish. A nice winter beer.

Can shared with Jack. Pours a near clear amber with a slight brown hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has light grass and slightly sweet bread with some hay underlying. Flavor has light sweet grains withh some bread and a bit of hay backing.

Rust and lime. Some orange. Pours orange amber without much head. Bitter end with a bit of zest. Tap at Dominion.
