A bold, medium-dry cider with richness and warming notes. Its depth of flavour is enhanced with the addition of molasses and raisins during the aging process.
This cider tastes like autumn in a glass— smooth and warming, with layered apple flavor accented by subtle hints of smoke and oak.
It’s a bridge between cider and old-fashioned spiced wine or early American ale.
New England cider pairs best with regional, rustic, and warm dishes—especially those featuring apple, pork, molasses, spice, or aged cheese.

Panda at home, thanks to Ed Danlo, 16/02/2026.
Clear golden copper with a thin white head that escapes to the edge.
Nose is tarte apple, an almost vinegar like wafting, herb, hedgerow.
Taste comprises bitter sweet apple, tannins, orchard wood, light funk.
Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close.
Okay drop.

750ml bottle from NewLeaf Orchard. Orangey gold colour with slight reddish tinge, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of rich apple, caramel, wood barrel, oak, vanilla. Taste is sweet, woody, appley, oaky, vanilla, fruity, with formic hints, some funk, and drying tannin. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying wood barrel tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.
