On the night of 14 March 2025, under the skies of Nelson, New Zealand, Egger’s Hops were harvested during a rare celestial event—a full blood moon and total lunar eclipse occurring together. Over a single 24-hour window, the hops were gathered at the precise moment when the moon’s gravitational pull, lunar light, and unique eclipse spectrum combined to create conditions unlike any other harvest in memory.
A select group of breweries in the UK, North America (and one in Australia) are joining in an international collaboration brew—celebrating this extraordinary harvest. By working together, Eggers Hops and the breweries can showcase not just the quality of New Zealand hops, but also the story of a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event captured in every cone.
Dry hopped with Eggers Full Moon Hops on Mon Oct 6th which will be the Harvest Moon. For this beer we've gone in for a 5.4% IPA
Suitable for Vegans!

Creamy white head stayed on a hazy golden coloured body.
Mandarin, melon & nectarine aroma.
Medium to full bodied, soft creamy & lightly carbonated with a dry clean back.
Melon, white wine, stone fruit, acidic & peppery tastes with a big tangy finish.
Delightful.

Keg at Gidea Park Taproom. Hazy orange gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a light creamy sweetness.. Light cooling pine. A fair amount of savoury skunk. Good citrus, touch of ripe grapefruit. Good all rounder.
