Nose is dark malts, fruit cake mix, toffee, chocolate, hint of vanilla.
Taste comprises dark malts, roasted tones, toffee, rocky roads, almonds, hint of vanilla, fruit tang.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Solid sipper with an old skool vibe ... hoping they have some BA impy's lined up after tasting this solid pair.

Can bought from the brewery. Glossy opaque cola brown. Foamy beige head. Aroma is bitter with cacao and a sour berry edge. Underlying nuttiness. Flavourwise it's sweet with a bitter and sour edge. A nutty streak takes the edge off. Praline and booze. Thick and oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Good stuff. Could be too sweet but manages to avoid this pitfall.
