Bottle shared by Joen. Opaque jet black color, small dark brown bubbles as a head. Aroma is very heavy, warming, raisins, dark malts and distant chocolate notes. Flavor is malts, raisins, sweetish, warming boozy notes initially. Upon swallowing there is definitely over the top boozyness there with some darl roast. Very heavy, heavy boozy finish as well. Good, but very very heavy.

Tap @ Peders. Black with a tiny beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, dried fruit, dark bread and bourbon. Flavor is very sweet. Sweet finish with lots of warming alcohol. Soft and boozy. 020426

Bottle, shared with friends. Pours clear mahogany, small head, bit of lacing. Aroma. is full of candi sugar, belgian yeast, cocoa, fig, bourbon. Flavor is quite sweet, light bitter. Full body.

Warming sweet malty with lots of dark caramel and toffee like sweetness, some dark dried fruit shred, great barrel character, yeasty linger, full bodied, nice interplay of spices into the malty warming boozy bear hug of a finish. Great winter warmer.
