330ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, tan head. BA supported, roasty, chocolately, mildly smoky, dark malty and slightly caramel malty aroma, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, some peated whisky, dark caramel, fruity alcoholic overtones with a touch of plum. Taste is roasty, chocolately and slightly smoky, dark malty, caramel malty, notes of coffee, dark chocolate, dark caramel, BA hints of peated whisky with an alcoholic touch.
Creamy-oily, almost viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation.
Well crafted, nice base beer, a bit unbalanced due to a slightly unproportional BA influence - pretty good overall.

Can. Color: Black, brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, smoke, peat. Taste: Roasted malt, smoke, some ash, some peat and subtle Whisky notes. Earthy. Over moderate to medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Smooth body. Over medium body, below average carbonation. Was expecting and hoping for even more smoke, based on the description. Ok overall.
