Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 16th January 2026. Clear, brownish copper with shallow pale tan foam affording spot lacing. Burnt toffee toasty maltiness dominating aroma. Cake fruits, malt loaf, and juicy cherry in-mouth. Finish consists of rich maltiness, gingerbread and sweet ripe berry fruits. A smooth yet fiery mouthfeel and a good amount of body.

Very tasty stuff, rather sweet and fruity, some pleasant toasted malts, a little fruitcake, low bitterness. Nice one.
