We aged this dark, rich, molasses-heavy stout for just over a year in two custom charred American oak barrels that previously contained Charbay rum. Velvety smooth with a hint of heat, this ale will make a scurvy sea dog out of any land lubber.

4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey. Black with light tan head. Aromas of big rum, dark chocolate, oak. Tastes of big rum, roast, dark chocolate, dark fruit. Medium body with a dry finish. Too much rum and booze, 4 ounces of this was too much.
