375mL bottle, undated, drunk 10/6/15.
Clear, slightly glassy liquid.
A touch of soft melon, very restrained coconut and a bit of perfume from the alcohol/esters. Dosent seem too boozey from the nose, nor does it gain much of it as it warms. That being said, lots of nuttiness and earthiness pervade the nose, giving it not a very complex aroma overall.
Light sweetness up front quickly gives way to melon, coconut and dry rice flavors that mix with some slightly sharp alcohol. On the drier side overall, with a medium-light body. Very low complexity, some obvious alcohol, but I did enjoy drinking it with food as it went down easy and wasn’t rampantly boozey. Certainly nothing special, but I’m happy to spend a little bit more money on this tier of sake instead of drinking Ozeki/gekkeikan/Momokawa.

Quick bottle pick up as my little sake jaunt continues. Pours yellowish with nose of alcohol. Tastes overwhelmingly of unpolished rice, some cantaloupe, grass, and rubbing alcohol. Palate is grainy and finishes a bit harsh. But still for a cheap sake it’s not terrible.
