375mL bottled April 2018, drunk 11/3/18.
Clear, light butter-tinted white.
Smells floral and showing hints of tropical fruit with almond meal, light vanilla and hints of cherry, as well. Not alcoholic and no sharpness whatsoever, though it's also not quite as bright and intense as I'd hoped, even drinking it at room temperature. But it's clean and flawless with light sweetness throughout and light fruit character lingering (pineapple, kumquat).
In the mouth it's soft, fairly light on the palate, with a hint of stickiness to it from the light sweetness. Alcohol is felt as dryness only. Floral notes lead to almond skin, vanilla and hints of pineapple and cherry. Very easy drinking, though perhaps not quite as complex as I'd hope for from a Daiginjo.
