Draft at the source. Clear ruby amber color, medium off white head. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel. Taste has caramel and very light butterscotch. Easy drinking. Guess this needs to be unretired!

A lightly hazed reddish amber ale with a thin off white head. Light caramel in aroma, not too much butterscotch, and a bit of roasted nuts. In mouth a nice woody nutty malt, not cloying. Medium bodied. Tasted at Downtown location, April 14 2008.

Had just a taste of this at the Shirlington location. Was poured on nitro which added a creamy, silky texture to the beer that was appreciated. Translucent deep ruby red, with a creamy, slightly tan head. Aroma of sweet malts and caramel. Flavor is very similar, sweet, sugary caramel, toffee, grain and a touch of biscuit. Creamy texture throughout the mouth with a lasting sweetness. Great session beer, I could drink this til I fell over.
