On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is grapefruit pith and pine. Medium body, grapefruit juice, grass, lingering bitterness, good

Draft Taproom (Charlottesville). Pours gold; was thinking this would be red based on the name. Light citrus nose, hint of vanilla and malt. Flavor is burnt malts, citrus peel, vanilla. Somewhat disappointing.

Tap. Quite hazy golden orange, minimal head and lacing. Aroma is super grapefruit. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, mega grapefruit and pith. Light plus body, low carbonation. This really is alcoholic grapefruit juice. . Funk dat.

Pint pour at Capital Ale House - Downtown. Poured a golden amber red color with a small white head. Aroma was light grapefruit notes. A lot stronger in the grapefruit that I expected, as I thoguht this was the wrong beer.

Keg at the brewery. Slightly hazy pale golden, large foamy off-white head. Good retention. Aroma of grapefruit zest and toasted malt. The taste is strong grapefruit and pale malt. Slightly thin, moderate lingering bitterness.

Sampled at the brewery, pours a murky red with some ringing white head. Nose is cool, like a high end radler, plenty of grapefruit, both zest and fruit, some lemon too, a little soda. Flavor follows, lots of grapefruit juice, plenty of lightly bitter zest, light malt, light orange too, some grass. Crisp on the finish, scary drinkable.

4 oz pour on draft at Isley. Plastic cup. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of big fresh grapefruit. Tastes of big fresh grapefruit, citrus, floral notes. Medium-light body with a dry finish. Tasty though not much pale ale character.
