19/3/2022. Bottle from The Wasabi Company. Region #381. Japan region 18/47. Aged sake brewed in 2008. Pours clear deep golden with no head. Aroma is sweet, nutty, toffee, malty, slightly musty, hint of chocolate liqueur with a slight spiced edge. Medium to heavy syrupy sweetness, some bitterness develops. Sticky texture, full body, no carbonation. Lovely warming sipper. Went superbly with a hard goats cheese. Also worked well another time as a dessert wine. Probably the most enjoyable Sake I've tried so far.

300ml bottle. Yellow gold colour, no head and aroma of caramel, musty, rice. Taste is sweet, rice, with alittle caramel, dried fruits, leather, musty, and grassy boozy. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, warm finish. Nicely drinkable.
