Isake Mini uses sake musashi, Saitama’s first original brewer’s rice. With a starchy consistency, the rice produces excellent quality koji which is the key to sake production. Each bottle of this light, fresh Junmmai comes hand wrapped in Japanese washi paper, topped with a unique good luck charm (go-en).

100ml bottle from the Whisky Exchange. Clear, very pale yellow colour, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of rice, mushroomy, rubber, booze. Taste is sweetish, rice, melon, earthy, and warming, grassy, alcohol. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, warm boozy finish. Quite drinkable.

Bottle from \"The Whisky Exchange\". Grainy sweetish nose. The Saké starts grainy and neutral, smooth, slightly alcoholic, with a grainy and slightly sweetish body. The grain is heavy, no fragile aroma so far. Grainy and slightly neutral aftertaste. Not a good one...
