It's easy to see why this is the biggest selling sake from Toko. Pure ginjo aromas of melon and nashi pear are also predominant on the palate. The texture is juicy with a medium plus body as you'd expect from a genshu (undiluted sake). Clean dry finish. Drink well chilled in a small wine glass to enjoy all the benefits of this smashing drink.

2/6/2026. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed. Almost colourless pour with a minimally bubbly head. Aroma is sweet and boozy, rice water, light lemon, melon and white chocolate. Good body. Warming. Nicely done.

300ml bottle from Sake Shop, Stanmore. Clear with pale yellow tint, no head and aroma of rice, fruit, spice. Taste is sweetish, rice, fruity, with some spicy warming booze. Oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, drying earthy boozy finish. Nicely drinkable.
