The Passion Fruit Prussia is our non-traditional look at the classic Berliner Weisse style. Brewed with a generous amount of passion fruit, this beer pours golden in color with a nice tart finish. A perfect compliment to the summer heat.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is a fruit lactic tartness. Flavor is an intensely tartness with a bitter fruit. Finish is like pure lemon juice. I did not get much passion fruit, which I would not know anyway. For the style I’m sure it’s spot on but this is too tart for me. Good palate cleanser though.

~3 oz sample at the Boulevardia Taps & Tastes in Kansas City, Missouri. The pour is hazed yellow with a minimal white head. The aroma is the passion fruit right away, fresh and tart. Below the fruit is a bit of earth and tart. The taste is lightly tart passion fruit, clean and simple. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation and a brief tart finish. Well executed and tasty beer.

Draft at Churchkey for their SAVOR event thanks to Travlr. Poured a cloudy yellow color, with a white head. Aroma was some funky notes of lemon peel, barn. Flavor had some light grain, sweet light tropical fruits. Very light.

Passion fruit taste is here but he problem is I just came back from Dominican republic with great fruit shakes. Anyway still a good mix. Pours light blonde with OK head. Light tangy finish. Lots of yeast. Tap at Churchkey thanks to Travlr.

Draft at the brewery during RBSG. From notes. Loads of tropical and citrus fruits dominate. Never tried a passion fruit, but that’s probably what I’m tasting in there. Very good.
