Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Clear with very pale yellow tinge, some short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of rice, fruit, melon, aniseed. Taste is rice, melon, fruity, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, and with some mellow spicy boozy notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, drying finish with vanilla and light booze. Nicely drinkable.

5/10/2024. Bottle from Taipei Airport part of a set of 5. Pours clear with a yellow green tint and no head. Aroma is fruity, melon, aniseed, liquorice, raisins, fragrant rice, hints of milky chocolate and vanilla. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, quite smooth, no carbonation. Very mellow alcohol finish. Enjoyed this. Best in the set. Makes me want to go to Japan and drink more sake…
