Cherry is good but the malt backbone is a little strange in this one. Can't put my finger on why. Murky ruby pour without much head. Tart finish. Decent but front stand out in a world of good krieks. Tap at brewery.

Bottle from 2012. Pours still reddish dark. Notes of cherries, cinnamon, light bretty funk, some tart berry notes.

Pours a ruddy reddish brown from a bottle. Aroma is of dirt, cherries, leather. Similar flavor. Sweet, not too tart, but a little bit. Medium bodied. Good beer.

Tasting at Tokyo Midtown. Light brownish-red pour, not really carbonated. Nose is autumny, lots of barnyard funk, decent level of acidity and light vinegar. Cherry peel bitterness, juice. Taste has more vinegar, light acidic feel to it, dry and tart. Interesting level of ageing in this 2014 version, acidic but mellowed together. Red currants, dry finish. Treat.

Lovely red brown color. Amazing vinegar, wood and cherries in the nose. Very tart nose. The mouth is extraordinarily tart with tons of cherries, oak and vinegar. Lingering sour oaky finish with tons of cherries

Had three different vintages of this (thanks Beershine), one of which was a travesty of butyric shit. But the other two weren’t bad, so I’ll ignore the bad one. Reddish brown, earthy, spicy cherry, nice mellow spicy cherry sour note. Good brew.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy red color. Aggressively sour, but supported by a good body strength, fruity (not so much cherry, rather it feels like generic berries), a bit woody.
Good.

Appearance is boring - drab brown with pink tones, no head or lace. Aroma is delightful with perfume, fruit, vinegar, malt. Flavor’s not as interesting as aroma, but similar and good. Body is good. Fairly easy drinking with enough fruitiness to offset the sour.

27-Jul-2016. 375ml bottle. Vintage 2014, bottled 2015. Tasting with Jamey. Pours a brown reddish with a white head. Aroma is funky with cherry notes. Taste is sour, very acidic, with cherry notes. Not bad, but too acidic and hence very overpriced. Meh.

18-Oct-2016. On tap at St. Augustine with Ash during Double Mountain tap takeover (thx, Alex, lol).
Vintage 2015. Juicy, cherry, tart, quite sour, no reaidual sweetness. Still not very good. 8-4-7-3-14=36

Vintage 2014. More sweet in aroma. Less sourness, less cherries, more woody.
8-4-7-3-13=34

Vintage 2013. Funky, old cherries, woody, very dry.
