Bottle share, thanks to Toby. Deep red color with a thin ring on top. Nose is chock full of cherries, sweet and sour. Fruity sweet and sour tart flavors, quite a bit of cherry comes through with the funk. Really nice.

375 ml bottle. Pours a translucent dark red color with a small pink head that disappearsesty quickly. Slightly funky cherry aroma. Big zesty funkaliscous sour cherry flavor upfront. Tart and fruity with a noteable alcohol prescence. Obvious Brett nuances. Hints of sourdough bread, dark fruit, goat cheese and lemon pepper seasoning. Unlike many Belgian Kriek beers, this has a lot more alcohol punch. Complex and interesting.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Shibolet home-brewery. Thanks Josh. 2013 bottle, 9.3%. Hazy red with orange hues. Nice sour aroma with cherries, some funk, a bit of marzipan. Sweetish and tart flavor with cherries, caramel, funk, earth, cobwebs, and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Nice.

Location: 375ml bottle from Sparrow - Downtown, 11/10/15, Labeled as 2013

Aroma: The aroma is wood and funk, cherry, cranberry fruitiness comes through as well
Appearance: It pours a completely clear cranberry juice color with no head or lacing
Flavor: Decent flavor of wood and sourness, fruity too, but more woody than fruity
Palate: Has a solid enough mouthfeel, somewhat fizzy carbonation, slightly dry close
Overall Impression: Decent one overall. Nothing too exciting here, just a solid, woody and fruity sour. Not much more to say beyond that.

Tap maybe the most expensive 10 oz beer I’ve ever ordered Hazy slightly muddy red with a light pink faint ring Tart cherry and apple aroma breach and pie crust. Big dull tart cherry flavored soft earthiness and a plain straight forward tart burn at the end Very tasty would have been awesome at half the price

375 ml bottle. Pours a reddish mahogany with no head. Aromas of dark cherries, light Brett, and a bit of green oak. Flavors of dark cherry cider, crab apples, lemons, and a touch of pie crust. A good North American Kriek.
