Bottle pour split. Pours a reddish pink color with no head. Sour cherries aroma. Flavor is much more sweet than sour. A lot of fresh red cherry flavor. Finishes more on the sour side. Fun beer here. Solid kriek.

Bottle - Tart cherry, soured malts and some worchester sauce. Cleanish red copper with a thin beige head. Light sour cherry and some sorted dark malts. Nice for an American sour.

On tap at PIB, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Nose brings out fuzzy citrus fruits and some moderate wild yeast. Flavour is wild and complex, with some brett-like wild yeast, with probably some other wild yeasts, some faint cherries, and citrus zest. Complex and refined, and very drinkable. Very good wild ale.

Poured from a 375mL bottle, vintage 2012 bottled on 01/15/2014. Aroma is fairly funky with quite a nice barnyard character to it. Moderately strong cherry character with moderate acidity. Light acetic note. Pours a fairly clear, bright ruby red with a slight orange hue and a moderately sized, fairly thin and frothy, slightly pink head that recedes quickly to the edges. Flavor is fairly tart with quite a bit of tart cherry character. Medium light barnyard funk with light tropical fruit character. Hints of citrus and acetic acid. Faint hint of a buttery character. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice American "kriek." Lots of cherry notes with decent acidic and Brett complexity. The acidity is definitely strong though.
