Versatile, well-balanced sake.
Brewed in snowy Niigata prefecture, Japan, this staple sake rice wine has a pleasant and robust rice umami, with a flavour that's neither sweet nor dry but true to the quality rice used to make it. Enjoy chilled or warmed.
Pairs well with both sweet and salty foods.
Alcohol: 15.0% ABV.

15/9/2023. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours colourless with no head. Aroma is fruity, melon, peach, rice water. Boozy but not harsh. Moderate body, quite smooth, no head. Fine.

300ml bottle from Japan Centre. Clear with afew bubbless on top and aroma of rice, melon, booze. Taste is sweetish, rice, fruity, melon, with alcohol. Medium bodied, low carbonation, mellow warming alcohol finish. Nicely drinkable.
