Blend of sake made from Yamada-nishiki produced in Hyogo prefecture, that has been aged for two years or more. Elegant aroma and full-bodied, mature taste. A highly drinkable sake from Kenbishi: a sip of this and you’ll know why they’ve lasted so long. Kenbishi Mizuho’s rich flavors delight the palate and manage to preserve a soft depth, especially when slightly chilled. A virtual treasure trove of flavors including caramel, nougat, sweet rice, toffee, cooked banana, roasted nuts, and sweet raisins. Be prepared for a sharp after taste. Keep in mind this sake is a blend of sake that is anywhere from two to eight years old, so you will find new exciting flavors with every sip. Rice type: Yamadanishiki sake rice. Tasting @King Arthur (Ciampino). Giallo paglierino, molto blando, limpida, schiuma assente. Al naso note etiliche, di riso, pane, frutta secca, frutta matura. In bocca è abboccata, con note di pane e frutta secca. Corpo pieno, carbonazione brillante. Interessante, ma nulla più.

Drank at room temperature. The appearance of the liquid is crystalline. The color is straw yellow. The olfactory intensity is high and lasts appreciably. The taste on the nose - dominant aroma is of malted rice Koji. The taste on the nose - secondary aromas find hints of vanilla, mushroom, spring water and spices. The first impression of intensity in the mouth is of strong sake. The aroma on the tongue is rather dry. The body is structured. The taste intensity is high. The taste persistence is good. The taste is pleasant. The aroma in the mouth bears signs of soy sauce, sherry, earthy, honey and dried fruit.
