Smoky, minimally ashy aroma, notes of smoked wood, a touch of wood ashes, widely disguised, caramel malty undertones. Taste is caramel malty with some residual sweetness, smoky and minimally ashy, mildly bitter, minimally grassy hoppy overtones, minimallydiluted notes of caramel, some dark caramel, smoked wood, a touch of wood ashes, some malt lozenge, minimally metallic overtones.
Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, slightly dry palate, fine, dense, mildly prickly carbonation.
Well balanced, focussed, not much depth, not overly sophisticated - solid.
