A combination that never fails, chocolate and peanut butter, and even better – it’s Imperial Stout form. A rich and luxuriously chocolatey base stout brewed with a blend of milk and dark chocolate set things up nicely, for the peanut butter (extract – no nuts involved here) to sing over the top, coating the mouth and making for an ever so tasty dessert in a glass!

440 ml can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 12%. Black colour, small tan head. Intense aroma of artificial peanut butter essence (no real peanuts), some chocolate in the background. Flavour of said essence, chocolate and blackberries. Low bitterness. Worth sampling, but won't buy again.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near clear dark brown beer, no real head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts and dark chocolate, lesser ice cream van chocolate syrup. Soft nutty vibe. Dark fruits lurking on the back end. Smooth finish. Not bad but, a bit obvious.

Can from The Craft Beer Cabin, Bromley. Nose is chocolate wafer, peanut butter, caramel, toffee, cola. Taste is a fair mix of the above. Boozy nutty sweet malty aftertaste. Interesting but only slightly enamouring.
