Eggers Hops grow some of the most exciting hops in New Zealand and this "Full Moon Harvest" is even more special than normal. Harvested during a rare combination of full blood moon and total lunar eclipse, this lot of Nelson Sauvin ticks all the boxes for us: huge punchy New Zealand characteristics with an intriguing connection to celestial activity.
So what exactly is a Lunar IPA then? Well, full moons are generally very bright....but blood moons a bit murkier perhaps? Hopefully that clears everything up.
