In late summer 2023, we made a wine from our homegrown Sauvignac, Gewürtraminer and Cabernet Blanc grapes. We barrel-aged the wine for 18 months and added it to a beer brewed 18 months before.

Pours unclear blonde. Small white head. Scent is spicy, orange-like fruity, grape character. Bit floral, fresh , nowhere near overwhelming orange, but by lack of better comparable foods, that pops in mind. Very interesting and inviting. Taste is full, tart, mellow and balanced. Fruityness, typical grape character, is defined by a florality, a touch bitter, slight orange like aspect, very wine-like character. Along with the acidity, this feels like a missing link between sparkling wine and beer. Often used in promo talks, but rarely as accurate as here. Easy drinker, nice intensity, unique, .... this beer has it all. One of the better antidoot's!
