Rich roasted malt with flavours of dark chocolate lead into warm spice and a smooth, creamy sweetness. Subtle oak, caramel notes, and a gentle bourbon, warmth round out to finish.

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Nose is pretty restrained, with gentle notes of graham cracker, a touch of cocoa, and light marshmallow—not much malt base seemingly. Flavour is more like a s’mores porter or brown ale, with plenty of graham crackery, cocoa, and marshmallow, a very thin malt base, light-to-moderate residual sugars that never become cloying mostly because there’s barely any depth here in general. Not a trace of bourbon barrel. Nothing wrong with it, just very underwhelming.

473 ml can. Pours a hazy brown with moderate head. Aromas of sulphur, plastic and marshmallows if I think on it; plus some faint milk chocolate and a bit of roasted malts. Flavor of bitter dark chocolate, oak, burnt coffee and roasted malts. Quite a mix up and not hitting target.
