Malt-forward amber lager that doesn't taste like a compromise. Loosely based on our Driving Home from Xmas, which was itself loosely based on the 45 Days Vienna Lager — this is a malt-forward beer with a good amount of Vienna and Munich malts doing the work. A hint of Czech Saaz and Mittelfrüh hops give a light herbal/floral note to complement the malts.

For meetings, long drives, or any regular day that needs beer without the buzz.

Can from Føtex. Pours clear dark amber with medium white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, toffee, lemon peel, herbs, and hints of grain and straw. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter, and faint to light acidic. Body is oily with medium carbonation. Finish is long and balanced sweet and bitter with notes of malt, caramel, toffee, biscuit, lemon, and hints of herbs. Very nice low ABV amber lager.

33 cl can from a Netto discounter poured in to a footed pilsner glass. Slightly hazy copper colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with brewing mash, caramel malts, grasses, red fruits, and a very light hint of toasted bread. The taste is sweet. Light body. Slightly drying finish with lingering brewing mash and red berries. Somewhat disappointed- the OG implosion is far better.

Slightly sour, also a bit sweet. This is my last beer of Dry January! (I started a few days late, so had to end today.) We shall see what tomorrow brings... 🍺 🍻

Pretty sweet bready and only lightly toasted malty with a subdued light hoppy backing, light bodied, overall abit too sweet and not toasty enough for me.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Slightly nutty, caramelly nose. Light body, some wort accents before an unpleasant chemical and metallic nose sets in. No bitterness and no pleasure. 040126
