12oz @ 🏡 shared with Phill and Alex.
Aroma: inky, roasty, a grassy, some American oak.
Taste: along the same lines, some sweetness, noticeably bitter.
Overall: it's to my taste, but if someone like bitter Imperial Stouts it is a good one 👍

355 ml can. Pours black with full tan head. Aromas of powdery chocolate, soft sweet bourbon, a bit of molasses, chalk and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with richer chocolate and lots of boozy bourbon alcohol. Reducing the boozy effects would make this great.

Dark brown, medium head. Big bourbon aroma, amd also on the palate, with toffee sugars and a touch of tannin. Rounded, warm, balanced.

On tap at Brassneck, pours jet black with a small tan head. Nose is full of deep roast, somewhat rough bourbon barrels, and some earthy dry cocoa. Flavour is robust, with lots of deep roasted malt, big woody notes, earthy dry cocoa, and slightly harsh Buffalo Trace presence. Dry, woody, roasty finish. Very good.

Poured from 355mL can (pkg 2025/12/04). Very dark brown with beige head. Mild roast and molasses with light bourbon booziness. Seems a touch muted, but balanced nonetheless.
