“This blend consists of the following barrels:

• 75% Imperial Stout aged for 12 months in a Wild Turkey barrel

• 25% Imperial Stout aged for 36 months in a Rye Whiskey barrel

The blend #3 offers rich chocolate and caramel notes with a bold, punchy whiskey character. Expect layers of spicy cinnamon, vanilla and deep char from the oak. The 12 month barrel contributes sweet chocolate notes, while the 36 month barrel adds depth with complex barrel character, dark chocolate, and subtle dark fruit.

Please store cold and enjoy fresh. Optimal serving temperature: ~15 °C.”

Bottle from Left Field Beer, shared at CBJ Tasting.. Aroma is sweet with a light edge. Flavourwise it's more interesting.. smooth and bitter with a boozy edge. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to Mark. Pretty much an opaque dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Smooth palate, a little dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, fairly rich dark chocolate. Chocolate cake and fruit cake. Some boozey spice on the close. Alright!

Very sweet, lightly meaty, boozy, some charred marshmallows, little chocolate. Not bad, if a bit basic.

Smooth, soft, slightly oily and thicc, heavy with barrel notes, bourbon, rye whiskey, vanilla, chocolate sauce, hints of toffee, syrup and roastiness, some sweetness. Complex and tasty slow sipper. Perhaps slightly sweeter than blend 2.
