The hops' aromas in this beer spread their good vibes unstoppably ! Ιt's no wonder , that among all beer styles, IPA is one of the most popular beers on earth. Solo IPA takes its name from the addictive hoppiness that characterizes an India pale ale. Psaki in the cretan dialect means something extremely bitter.

Can. (thanks SirLimpsalot) Dark golden with a white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, some hay and light malt. The same in the taste. The finish was quite bitter. A pleasant one.

(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20190722) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, earth and caramel. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were earth, grass, malts, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A nice hoppy brew with strong malty body.

Tap @ Pikkulintu, Ruttopuisto. Poured golden deep color. Resiny, heavy bitter stuff. Resin, grapefruit, massive bitterness. Good stuff.

28/6/2019. Bottle at O Μπαμπάς, Athens. Pours pale amber with an average size off-white head. Aroma of pine, hops, toffee, fruit and twig. Light to moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Bitter finish.

Det er jammen sjelden man finner en ordentlig godbit på Statens helsekostutsalg i Hønefoss, men denne gangen hadde jeg flaks - én enslig boks sto litt bortgjemt på hylla. Jeg aktiverte umiddelbart snapphansken og gikk rett til kassa. Nå er jeg hjemme, og utbyttet skal realiseres: lett uklar rødgylden med fint skum som varer. Solide inntrykk fra første øyeblikk - furunål/granskudd, bitterappelsiner og tørkede tropiske frukter. Solid maltkropp holder det hele på plass, og bitterheten i avslutningen er definitvt for viderekommende. Heftig, begeistret og begeistrende.

Nice slightly bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet floral, wet leafs, hay, caramel malts, wet grass, hops, minerals, alcohol, cereal, flowers, citrus, moss, bark. Taste is slightly harsh sour-ish grassy, weeds, bark, alcohol, harsh hops, soil, caramel malts, sap, wet grass, harsh citrus peel, old leafs. Longlasting harsh bitterness, boozy floral mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

From tap at På kornet with OGJ and Nilsas 03.06.19. Clear golden. Dense and persistent white head and lacing. Fine aroma of Sevilla marmalade, succade, mandarins and caramel. Similar taste. A old-style IPA. Solid bitterness. Very tasty!

Drukket på Lillehøgda. Varm gylden. Middels høyt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Bra ferskenaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken balansert. Fersken. Plommer. Malt i bakgrunnen. Tørt syrlig bitter avslutning.
