Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 08/18/2011. Dark amber pour with a medium frothy off-white head that diminishes gradually to a dense film. Small patches of lace. Aroma of malt, fruit, hops and caramel. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, ripe fruit and earthy hops. The finish is boozy and chewy with a malty aftertaste. Good beer all around.
