A reddish copper ale with a thick creamy mocha head. In aroma, caramel malt with herbaceous hops, grass, light honey notes, nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light honey notes, OK. Bottle at the Big Deck tasting 2016.

750ml bottle. Aroma is a little oxidized, flavor is a little soured. Not one to age I suppose. Soured honey tinged notes. Not super impressive. Honey belgo beer. Unique. Sour dry notes.

Bottle from the brewery shared at the C’Ville Foxy Knoxy tasting. Hi Amanda! Dark brown, thin fizzy tan head. Good retention. Aroma of spice, honey, yeast, caramel. The taste is nutty, herbal notes, honey, stone fruit, citrus, Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, lingering spice.

Bottle. Gusher. Hazy deep maroon color, tan head. Aroma is complex and mysterious. Taste is toasted brownies. Hi carbonation interferes with the mouthfeel.

Bottle brought by myself to End of History tasting. Pours dark brown with beige head. Nose of roasted malt and honey. Tastes of honey, yeast, roasted malt, root beer, and cola. Fairly rustic offering and pretty tasty.

Some roast, some honey and a touch of astringency. Honey tempers some of the bitterness of this saison like beer. Finishes with some bitterness. Average carbonation. Not so syrupy in terms of texture. Pours dark brown with good head and lacing. Tap at some bar I can’t remember.
