This edition of Surtur was aged in sherry casks for six months, lending it a tingling acidity with sophisticated tones of sherry.
The beer is unfiltered and will age with dignity in a dark, cool place up until the time of Ragnarök.

Bottle from Beerdome. Aroma is roasted and burnt malt, bit chalky, caramel, some cocoa, coffee, touch of liquorice. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet with a moderate bitterness. Body is too thin for the style. Fine Stout, bit underwhelming as an Imperial Stout.

Beware!
