Bruxellensis is refermented for several months with a wild Brettanomyces yeast originated in Brussels. Amber with copper reflections, its fruity attack (pineapple, red fruits) is supported by hop flavours in dry hopping, and by complex, almost animal notes of old leather. It then develops a rich malty note with biscuit accents and a persistent fruity/candied flavour. Its finale is dry and bitter, its character is unique.

Boisterous and funky, with a tonic-like bitterness underneath citrus and a subtle sweetness and a formidable barnyard earthiness in the background. Solid pint.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sour. L'intensità olfattiva è elevata, permanendo in maniera sufficiente.

330ml @ Ryan's (thx for the beer, man!).
Aroma: Brett, some flowery notes, some peppery and light smoky notes like in Belgian Saison.
Taste: along the same lines, loads of Brett. Finishes with Brett bitterness.
Overall: another representative of those Matt's and Andrew's favourite ratings from me with "Brett, Brett, too much Brett" in them 😂

Poured from 33cl bottle (bottled 22 June 2023; bb 22 June 2027). Hazy orangey gold with white head. Super dry soft brett, mild citrus note, quick finish. Gets a bit one note with all the brett.

33cl bottle from AbeerVinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours orange gold, fairly hazy, with fine white foam. Aroma is fruity, spiced, a little funky. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, with a bit of acidity. Final is long, still fairly intense.

Flavour of salted red apple, sherbet and rhubarb. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. The flavour is intense and delicious.

330mL bottle, pours an opaque orange with a huge white head with long retention. Nose is massively brett-forward, with some spicy rustic yeast underneath – but, really, this is all brett. Flavour is bone dry and a brett bomb, with huge brett funk, hay, maybe a touch of fruitiness in there, and bitter from the dry-hopping. Finishes dry, bitter, and funky. Excellent brett beer.
