A triple dry hopped version of our all-Nelson DIPA sees every distinct expression of our favourite hop dialled up to the max. A Jeroboam's worth of Sauvignon blanc complexity is met with puckering gooseberry and passionfruit, soothing lychee and ripe melon, sticky resin and grassy meadow, and an acerbic slap of mezcal margarita. This is Nelson Sauvin at its most visceral.

Panda thanks to Cloin. A light haze on this gold beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Thin palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Thinnish pale malts, a thin creamy sweetness. Generally speaking - this last 6 months worth of Nelson, for me, as good as anything on over a decade. Here we have slightly tangy white wine and, a slightly honeyish grape, rich and flavoursome. Soft cooling pine and, a fair old hop spice bite here. Airy finish delivers a little savoury skunk. Rather nice NS dipa.

440ml can. Murky gold with a white head. Aroma of grape, gooseberry, melon, passionfruit. Taste of grape, melon, gooseberry, passionfruit, juicy and tropical, low bitterness. Medium bodied.
Quite juicy and tropical rather than vinous expression of Nelson, but significantly better than the original in any case.

Can from House of Cans, Soho. Nose is lime,melon,gooseberry jam, lychee, white grape, grapefruit. Taste is rich flavoursome mix of the above, some tropical fruits coming through too. Robust bitter hoppy aftertaste. Top stuff.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 13/01/26.
Murky orange topped with a lasting frothy just off white head.
Nose is juicy tropicana, mellow Nelson as it goes for Track, mandarin, papaya, pine resin, nectarine.
Taste comprises orange pith, stone fruit, grass, pine resin, mandarin, ripe melon.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Solid easy drinking DIPA.
