473mL can, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a medium beige head. Aroma has big caramel malts, bready toffee, and a touch of hop resins too. Flavour is much the same, with plenty of caramel, bready malts, toffee, and just a gentle hop expression providing light bitterness. Not particularly complex malts, but it’s pleasant. Simple strong ale.
