2006 vintage. The beer pours dark reddish-brown with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a dense outer ring. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruit, malt and yeast. Full-bodied with an oaky character and flavors of plums, figs, caramel malt and oak. The finish is fruity with a plum and oak aftertaste. Enjoyable beer all around.
