This very original beer has a golden deep color and a slight hazy appearance, while the head is fine and persistent. It release a kaleidoscope of scents that blend into one, pleasant bouquet of fruity, resinous and woody notes, with a subtle touch of incense: a surprise each time the glass is brought to the nose.
The taste of cereals stands out and anticipates notes of apricot, hazelnut and honey. An explosion of tastes brought together by the freshness of ginger and slight hints of citrus fruits, before finishing with notes of spices and malt.

Bottle. Hazy orange color with creamy white head. Aroma is spicy yeasts, orange peel, something I can't quite place (probably the kamut grain), very interesting. Taste is grain spice, rye-like, dough, orange peel, surprisingly sweet finish. Silky mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Interesting!

Fles gedeeld door Inoven. Het is een troebel oranje geelbier met weinig schuim. Het heeft weinig aroma, een beetje moutig. Het heeft een volle kruidige wat zoete smaak met hints van anijs.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig bier met weinig schuim. Aroma is fruitig en licht moutig. Smaak van anijs en bittere hop. Nasmaak is bitter.

bottle from voldby købmandsgaard. nice 75cl bottle, looks exclusive with wax and all. price was that too. Italians are masters of presentation... Opening the bottle, however, was quite an engineering challenge, involving 3 tools and manual labor on top of that. hazy to clear yellow, no head. boozy and fruity aroma. like a flat belgian triple. flavor is sweet herbal, caramel, quite sweet caramelly in fact, i guess that is the dominating flavor. faint herbal note, drinkable, but not very enjoyable. imagine the caramelly stuff they put on vanilla ice cream.. that's about how this beer tastes. i like that taste, but i'm totally out of vanilla ice cream so a bit dissapointed.

(Bottle) Hazy amber brown with thin white head which disappeared quickly. Slightly spicy yeasty aroma. Nice palate - plenty of body and some stickiness with bright fine carbonation. Unusual and pleasant taste - there's a spicy dry start but quite a bit of sweetness develops, hints of ginger and berries, and candy. No noticeable bitterness, but that's not a problem, the balance is there. Unusual and very nice.
