Om draft at 3 Daughters, listed at the brewery as Red Bender. Mostly clean copper red appearance. Thin fizz head. Mellow nutty grain, some subtle berryvlike sweetness in the background. Smooth amber with less than boring flavors like usual I find in the style. Tasty brew here.

Keg at the brewery during RBWG 2015. Pours clear amber with a foamy, off-white head. Not bad, has notes of toasty grains, rindy orange, light pine. Flavour holds more toasted bread, low bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish. Fine, drinkable beer.

My can says rod bender red ale. Got it from total wine in saint pete. Color is brownish, not really red per se. Yes, a malty irish kind of brew. Not bad. Smell is quite malty as well. Does not really feel like 6%. In the end its a decent red ale which can be a friend.
