Bottle shared at the brewery during RBWG 2015. Pours brown with a frothy, off-white head. Hearty and sweet, with moderate fruity notes, rich bready malts. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, sugary, all around rich malts. Enjoyable.

Bottle split at the brewery druing RBWG Booze Buseday 20/02/15. Chestnut brown with a moderate off white covering. Nose is rich fruit rinds, toffee, light spice, caramel. Taste comprises subtle barrel, rich toffee, spice, fruit cake, malt, nuts. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light warming alcohol. Decent enough for the style but doesn’t quite deliver on the ABV in terms of depth.

Enjoyed at the 3 Daughters brewery stop of the rbwg2015 bus tour. Poured up out of a 22oz bottle where it exhibits a brown body that supports a light tan head. The mild aroma offers up sweet bourbon, faint molasses and malts. The taste delivers smooth molasses sweetened bourbon, nectar sweet malts and then lighter notes of prunes and fig like fruitiness. Pretty darn nice as I’m enjoying the balance and smooth slick bourbon.

Bottle from owner at the brewery. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is scotch and bready malt. Thin mouthfeel with strong toffee and caramel, sweet malt, very nice.
