Keg at the brewery during RBWG 2015. Cheers! Pours unclear golden brown with a creamy head. Very tasty, nice smokey notes, light lemony tartness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lingering smoke in the finish, subtle tartness, some light ham and honey. Fun one.

Poured up on tap at the brewery where it exhibits a clear deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a nice white head of foam. The aroma offers up smooth supple pork like smokiness, a hit of fruity esters and little else. The taste is similar with mild slightly bacon like soft smoke to go along with a bit of esters and mild vague hop bitterness. Nice.

Keg at the brewpub, RBWG ’15, 20/02/15. Murky orange amber with limited off white spotting. Nose is light smoked meats, spice, toffee, grain. Taste comprises biscuit, toffee, salty licks, grain, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.

Draft at Rapp 3/16/2015. Hazy, dirty gold with thin head. Aroma is wheat, grain and a light smoke malt underneath. Flavor is a perfect representation of the style. Smoke is subtle and nicely done. Dry ashy texture over the palate.

Draft at the source during RBWG 2015. Hazy golden yellow color, white head. Nice herbal spiced nose with distant campfire. Taste is lightly spiced and gently toasted. Delicious.
